Setting the record straight
📣 A Response from Parfait Parquet - to ATT Flooring sanding Blog post
Hi everyone,
I want to take a moment to respond to a blog post published by ATT Floor Sanding that contains several false and damaging claims involving myself, my business, and a client whose floor we were called in to restore.
This post is not about creating drama—it’s about protecting my clients name and my business reputation and giving you the facts.
🔨 What Actually Happened:
ATT Floor Sanding completed a job in Autumn 2021.
The client was unhappy with the result. She raised her concerns with them but received no solution and was left with what you see in the photos above.
I was later contacted via a renovation group I belong to. I had no prior connection to the client or the job at that time.
In March 2022, I was hired to restore the floors. One room was too damaged to salvage, but the others were fully restored to a professional finish.
The client paid us legally, and we provided a proper French devis and facture.
(Unlike the UK-style VAT slip she received before.)
📩 The Client’s Words (Email to ATT):
“You’re asking us to complete the job we paid you to do… We felt the work was rushed and were pressed to pay in cash. Blaming heat and weather is not a reason for poor work.”
🚫 False Claims in the Blog:
The blog suggests that I conspired with this client to harm ATT’s reputation.
That is simply not true.
I never knew the client before she approached me.
I never named ATT publicly in any post, video, or conversation.
I never impersonated anyone or acted under a false name.
The client made the choice to leave a review after months of trying to resolve the issue herself.
The idea that I “set up” this situation is false and defamatory.
🤷♂️ Why Address This Now?
Because that blog is still live—and it’s misleading.
It comes up when people Google my business name. That affects my reputation, my team, and my clients.
I work hard. I work honestly. And I won’t be dragged into someone else’s failure to take responsibility for their work.
💬 Final Word
If the blog post comes down, I’ll consider this resolved.
But until then, I’ll continue standing up for my company with facts, not fiction.
To ATT:
Own your mistakes. Don’t shift the blame.
A bad review isn’t the end of the world—but slandering others to avoid accountability is not how we should do business.
Thank you to my clients, followers, and colleagues who know the quality and care I bring to every job.
